Nominate a Steel Athlete National Athlete of the Week
Steel Athlete has now introduced a new feature to their site known as the Steel Athlete National Athlete of the Week, on www.steelathlete.com which will be implemented immediately. This will give anyone, mom or dad, coach or academic counselor, church, community organization, city, etc., the opportunity to nominate a high school athlete, male and female, throughout the country to gain immediate recognition for something that athlete has contributed in or for. Steel Athlete has mentioned that one of the reasons that they have implemented this is to give recognition to outstanding individuals an opportunity to shine for many reasons such as, young student athletes who have had an impact in the community, academics, athletic performance, outstanding leadership, service and many, many other reasons. Steel Athlete knows that there are tremendous athletes out there, but there is much more to being a great athlete and they want to know about those things as well.
Steel Athlete will select a male and female athlete per week starting shortly. They would like to receive as many nominations as possible because they know that there are plenty of tremendous athletes who need to be recognized. Once selected by the Steel Athlete’s board of voters, based on the nominations received and information given, Steel Athlete will select an Athlete of the Week and put them on their site, blog, and social media pages. They do this to help with the recruiting process and give each athlete as much recognition to college coaches and recruiters. These athletes will also be given a FREE profile on www.steelathlete.com which provides them with an incredible opportunity to continue their recruiting process and connect with thousands of college coaches and recruiters in the nation.
