Stefan Cantwell, Bingham High’s junior quarterback led his team, the Bingham Miners of Utah, to the 5A state championship with a gutty and outstanding performance. Cantwell had 18 direct snaps, ran for 173 yards, and scored 4 touchdowns. Cantwell was the difference maker in the game and led his team to a state championship. Congratulations to Stefan for being selected as this week’s National Steel Athlete of the Week!  Stefan should be congratulated for his tremendous character on and off the field as he has demonstrated through his actions and accomplishments. He looks to have another successful season next year and possibly lead his team to a back to back state championship.
